Relationship in the Philippines
Intelligent Outcomes is delighted to announce the establishment of a strategic and business relationship with ‘Risktrack Asia Pacific’ (RAP) in the Philippines. RAP is a security risk management company that employs personnel with extensive intelligence, risk management and security backgrounds. The Chief Executive Officer of RAP will be Rear Admiral Ed Israel (Ret) who joined the Intelligent Outcomes team in mid 2007 and who will also remain as Intelligent Outcomes Principal Consultant in the Philippines.
Intelligent Outcomes will support the growth of RAP by offering its full range of global risk management services to RAP clients from January 2008. The strategic and business relationship with RAP will become the primary means of continuing the growth of the Intelligent Outcomes group of companies business in the Philippines and throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Intelligent Outcomes' appointment in the Philippines
Intelligent Outcomes is delighted to announce the appointment of Rear Admiral Ed Israel (Ret) to our team in the Philippines.
Ed entered the Philippine Military Academy in 1966 and graduated in 1970 with a degree of Bachelor of Science and an officer’s commission in the Philippine Navy. He held a wide range of intelligence postings during his long and distinguished career. These included Chief of Intelligence Operations and Deputy Chief of Naval Intelligence in the Office of Chief of Naval Intelligence; Defense and Armed Forces Attaché, Jakarta, Indonesia; and Inspector General of the Intelligence Service. He retired from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in 2003 at the rank of Rear Admiral.
Ed is a consultant to the Office for Transportation Security (OTS), Department of Transportation and Communications. He occupied the position of Deputy Director and Head of Training, Policy, and Research, Maritime Security Bureau from 2003 until April 2007. As head of training, Ed was deeply involved in the implementation of the Australian government grant on the Port Security Capacity Building Project. This project delivers training courses on IMO SOLAS Chapter XI-2 and ISPS Code to Port Facility Security Officers, Company Security Officers, Ship Security Officers, and other Maritime Industry Participants. Ed continues to consult to OTS on maritime security measures and security risk management.
Ed joined Intelligent Outcomes Group in mid 2007. He currently consults on behalf of Intelligent Outcomes to the Australian government to implement the port security capacity building project in the Philippines. He has worked on this contract in Indonesia on two occasions delivering ISPS Code audit courses for the Indonesian Coast Guard and Port Authorities.
Ed undertakes a wide range of security risk management consulting and security auditing in the maritime sector in the Philippines. He provides the full range of Intelligent Outcomes consulting services to a diverse range of private sector clients.
During his career in the AFP he attended an extensive list of intelligence courses. His tertiary qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Ateneo Graduate School in Makati City in 1980 and a Bachelor of Science from the Philippine Military Academy. He has also attended many seminars on business issues such as feasibility studies and financial management.
